-no, you can’t learn japanese just from watching anime (unless you’re some kind of genius).-yes, you can improve your japanese from watching anime-no, you should not speak japanese like how. I’ve been known in the past to say you can’t learn japanese from anime… and that’s still quite true. the amount of people out there who watch thousands of hours of (admittedly addicting) anime under the pretense that they’re “learning” japanese is startling.. Like most of you, the main reason i decided to learn japanese was anime. watching anime has always been a magnificent escape for me. i loved being able to dive into these awesome fantasy worlds..
The “watch anime and learn japanese” concept is just a myth. a lot of high school students improve their english level by reading books and comics, or watching dramas and movies in english with subtitles in their own language.. The purpose of this site is that everyone understands japanese culture and has more better "learn japanese anime life". the final goal is to watch all anime and explain all those japanese culture for everyone.. For more information on this, you can check out the post by koichi that explains how to study with japanese dramas. results may vary. okay, you got me. so you really can’t learn japanese without doing anything, but it is true that there are a handful of easy things that can be done with little to no extra effort that are certainly helpful.
